Here is a swan in Clumber Park.

Swans are really beautiful birds. It’s not surprising they are protected by the Crown. Not quite sure what the Queen will do with them but even more surprising that some people will kill these wonderful creatures.

A photo of my very favourite ukuele.

This is a Laka cut-away ukulele made by Vintage Ukuleles. A nice uke made from a spruce top and koa wood back and sides. The strings are made by Aquila – Perhaps the best ukulele strings in the world.

So close but so far away. Out of bounds…

Doing a little window shopping in Cleethorpes while the shops were closed. Those guitars sure do look good through the shutters.

Fishermen in their boat just off the coast at Whitby.

On their way to haul in their lobster pots on a beautiful summers day.

A close up of my previous camera.

This was my old (or not so old) Nikon P500. An impressive piece of kit with the 35mm equivalent of a 24mm to 810mm zoom lens. Impressive. Mega-zoom or what?

Green shoots of growth. It almost seems like spring.

But it’s not. It’s still winter…
A close up shot of a Hyacinth taken indoors in winter when the weather wasn’t so good. It’s great that photography can be so varied there’s scope for taking photos even when the weather is bad.
